The highly anticipated sophomore release from COASTALRISE, `Call of the Sea` will premiere at The Colonial Theatre on April 5th!  Since late 2010, Coastalrise has been quickly rising on the indie music scene.  Just after the release of their self-titled debut album in June of 2011, they showcased at the prestigious `Creation Festival,` where they took the top indie performer pick, landing them national recognition.  Last summer they played at five of the nation's largest music festivals.  In non-summer months, Coastalrise has played at many of Philadelphia's top music venues for sold-out crowds creating a buzz in the local music scene.  

 

`Call of the Sea` is releasing in mid-March and is the more mature, developed, and collaborative sound of Coastalrise with all the fun, and unexpected twists that keep listeners loving their music, yet still trying to place them in a genre category.  Their passion-filled lyrics in combination with their soulful vibe is inspiring to all ages, and fans of all genres.
