The "Taste of Italy?," the popular wine tasting of the Italian Festival will be located once again in the Armory right next door to the Italian Festival in the heart of the Seattle Center grounds.
The "Taste of Italy?" is a chance for the general public to try some sixty wines from Italy at the minimal cost of $25 per person in advance, or $30 at the door. Each ticket includes a souvenir wineglass and five 2 oz. tastings of wine. Additional tastings may be purchased for $2.50 apiece, and there will be sparkling water, bread, Italian antipasti and cruditès available for palate-cleansing.
You must be 21 years of age to be able to attend this event and there is no child-care provided. In addition, attendees will be able to view the Le Arti della Festa art & mixed-media exhibition, and the Festa Italiana Historical Photo Exhibit sponsored by Bonney-Watson. Patrons can also purchase bottles of wine to be consumed off-premises, or cases of wine to be delivered the following week.
