The purpose of Golden West is to promote aviation education and safety by holding an annual Regional Fly-in. Golden West strives to present aviation at its best in a venue that provides a fun and educational outing for the entire family. Some of the activities you will find at the Golden West Regional Fly-In include:
- A close up look at hundreds of aircraft including, homebuilts, antiques, aerobatic, ultralights, hot air balloons, racers, WWII warbirds and current military aircraft. If it flies it comes to Golden West. Only at a Fly-in can you get this close to this variety of aircraft. Talk to the owner/pilots, peek inside and maybe even take a ride!
- BBQ Rib & Tri-tip Competition Cookoff on Sunday
- For Kid’s there are hands-on workshops where they learn about the mechanics of flight, construction projects where they experience how airplanes are made
- Exciting aerial demonstrations, including the U.S. Navy F/A-18 Tactical Demonstration by Lemoore Naval Air Station
- An aerobatic airshow each day with lots of smoke and noise and thrills.The latest from avionics manufacturers, in aviation software.
- Buy aircraft accessories, tools and complete plans for airplanes.
- Forums by aviation experts. Talk with authors and war heroes

A. 8 am

A. Open field area
Q. Does my 5 year old child need a ticket?
A. No charge; they will be given a wrist band to show they have been through admission with adult
Q. What is the handicap access like?
A. Parking is close to entrance area
Q. Is it all seating or standing room only?
A. Stand, some seating areas, or bring your own chair
Q. What does General Admission mean?
A. This is an open event; no special seating or price levels
