Jason has been a dear friend of the Community Coffeehouse, visiting us faithfully every year since 2009. What we cherish most about Jason is the depth, compassion, and wisdom with which he speaks and writes. He has a tender heart for the broken — perhaps because he knows that, in one way or another, that includes all of us. His music and words remind us of our shared need for kindness, and of the healing love and grace of Jesus.
Jason has recently released a book — a beautiful collection of reflections inspired by the songs we have all come to love over the years. Join us for an intimate evening of music and readings as he shares both song and story.
As Jason says (tongue firmly in cheek), “Just what you wanted — a stutterer to read to you. Come watch the trainwreck.” In truth, we know it will be anything but. It will be a heartfelt, honest, and deeply moving night.
And truly, there is no better setting than the warm, welcoming space of the Community Coffeehouse.
