Security Information

NAS Kingsville is pleased to welcome you and your family to this action-packed event. The men and women of NAS Kingsville pledge that we will do everything we can to make sure your visit to NAS Kingsville for the 75th Anniversary is safe and fun.

Free General Admission

General admission to the 75th Anniversary is FREE of charge and includes FREE parking (subject to capacity) on base.

Prohibited Items

In order to keep possibly dangerous items outside the event space, ALL bags will be inspected as you come through the entry points and all individuals are subject to search. To keep delays at a minimum, please remember that the following items are NOT PERMITTED to be brought into the event space and may be confiscated:

- Ice chests and coolers
- Large bags (bags larger than a small purse or fanny pack), duffle bags, briefcases, large camera bags and large packages
- Backpacks
- All weapons (regardless of permit) including: firearms, knives (including pocket knives and multi-tools), walking sticks (except for handicap use), and all other items that the NASK Security force may deem dangerous.
- Alcoholic beverages
- Pets (other than service animals)
- Glass containers
- Outside food or drink
- Bicycles, roller skates, roller blades or skateboards
- Drones of any size.
- Personal fireworks, fire crackers or any type of sparkler/ignitable device.

All confiscated items will not returned.

Authorized Items

All authorized items will be inspected prior to entering the event space. It is recommended that spectators minimize the number and size of authorized items to reduce the time required for inspection prior to access to the event space. The following items are permitted:

- Cell phones, pagers and FRS transceivers (may be asked to turn off or on)
- Handheld portable radios, TVs and scanners
- Small fanny packs and purses
- Cameras and camcorders (may be required to open these items during inspection)
- Folding chairs and lawn chairs (chairs in bags are subject to search)
- Umbrellas and sunshades
- Beach blankets or large blankets to sit on in the grass
- Wheelchairs
- Baby bags and strollers, if attending with an infant or small child.

Smoking

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside the building, at the tents, in the vicinity of vendor trucks or displays.  There will be designated smoking area(s), which may require you to go through the entry and inspection points again.
