More about the artists:

Denmantau ? This five piece band from Hamburg/Germany have developed a unique genre now known as Trumpet/Rock. Their new sound combines many different genres like: Folk, Funk, Jazz, Rock and many others, lead by a diverse variety of rhythms.

With the sound of acoustic/electric/electric-guitar and keys the singer and trumpet player Paul Weber, binds the wild combo together with sharp lyrics, expressive melodies and theatrical appearance. Their spirit and passion for music has been welcomed on both stages and the streets. Starting their world tour from Australia/New Zealand over to Europe all the way to California they choose Southern California as their new home base ready to take on their conquest, not only spreading their music across the world, but also being the first band on the Moon!

Note: This was the band that created such a stir at this year?s Fete de la Musique.

Purple Mountains Majesties is comprised of a bassist, a drummer, and four front men who switch off on every instrument they can afford to buy - all types of guitar, ukulele, keys, glockenspiel, flute, trumpet, melodica, recorder, and assorted percussion. The heavenly three and four part harmonies and melodies bring to mind the sound of the early Beach Boys and Beatles, but thier inventive instrumentation and arrangements put them firmly at the forefront of the modern alternative scene populated by bands like Edward Sharpe and Magnetic Zeros.

Hailing from the depths of Orange County, they were performing in a local raw food restaurant run by the renowned silent chef Ito (yes you read that right) they were discovered by former Oingo Boingo keyboardist, film composer, and record producer Richard Gibbs. Gibbs immediately brought them on board and began producing their debut album for his new recording venture, Invisible Arts.

Joseph Carroll ? He describes his music as Alternative/Indie/Folk and lists Neil Young and Cold Play as major influences. Joseph?s dream to pursue a music career has spurred him from his Oregon hometown to Southern California.

Box Hotel - Orange County's next music generation will be on stage for all to experience.
