8:00 a.m. : Gates Open
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. : Static Displays, Vendors, Exhibits, Kids Area and Music Stage
11:00 a.m. : Opening Ceremonies
12:00 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. : Aerial Performances
5:00 p.m. : Gates Close

*The aerial acts and static displays will be the same on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting. The schedule is subject to change.

GENERAL ADMISSION - FREE

General admission to the Smoky Mountain Air Show is FREE and does not require a ticket for entry.  However, there is NO SEATING provided. Please plan to bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Don’t want to carry around a chair? Learn more about premium seating opportunities! Parking on airport grounds requires a parking pass.



PARKING PASSES - $75.00 

You only need to purchase one parking pass per vehicle. Parking passes are good for ONE DAY ONLY. Parking locations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served—arrive early for the most convenient parking options. Parking staff will direct you to your parking spot upon entry. The GPS address to the parking area entrance will be listed on your parking pass. 

Additional information to consider: 

  • ARRIVE EARLY and expect traffic delays. Parking areas open at 7:00am. Air show gates open at 8:00am. 

  • No shuttle service is provided from air show parking areas. 

  • Parking areas are located in uneven and grassy terrain, similar to festival parking.

  • Average walk time to air show grounds: 30 minutes.

  • Parking areas cannot accommodate accessible parking. Accessible passes are available separately.

Parking passes are valid for a vehicle size of 14 passengers or less. Bringing a large group in a bus? Contact us at smairshow@tys.org for information about the designated drop-off location.


Drop-off attendees, including ride sharing, do not require a parking pass for entry into the air show.



ACCESSIBLE (ADA) PARKING PASSES - FREE

Accessible Parking Passes can be reserved here. The Accessible Parking Lot is located on the TN Air National Guard Base and is a paved lot. The GPS address to the parking area entrance will be listed on your parking pass. This lot will offer fully-accessible shuttles to the air show site. In order to park in this designated lot, you must present an accessible parking pass, and your vehicle must display an official, current Disabled Person License Plate and/or Placard. Parking passes in this lot are very limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

PREMIUM RESERVED SEATING - $75.00 (per person)

Reserved Seating tickets offer individual seats along the air show flight line. With this purchase, you have the opportunity to pre-select your seating location based on availability. This ticket includes access to separate portable restrooms, shaded areas, and designated concessions. 

Reserved Seating tickets are good for ONE DAY ONLY. To access this area, each person must have a ticket.

Children four and under are free and are considered a lap child. However, if you would like a seat for your child, a Reserved Seating ticket is required. 

Note: Parking passes are not included with the purchase of Reserved Seating tickets.

FLIGHT LINE CLUB SEATING - $350.00 for a Table of 2 / $700.00 for a Table of 4

Flight Line Club Seating is for the air show attendee looking for the ultimate Smoky Mountain Air Show experience! This area will be in a prime location on the flight line and provide reserved table seating for one of the best views of the show. 

Your ticket will include:

  • Reserved Table with chairs

  • Snacks and Lunch 

  • Non-Alcoholic Beverages (alcoholic beverages available for additional purchase.)

  • Shaded Dining Areas

  • Separate Portable Restrooms

Flight Line Club Seating tickets are good for ONE DAY ONLY.  To access this area, each person must have a ticket.

Children four and under are free and are considered a lap child. However, if you would like a seat for your child, a Flight Line Club Seating ticket is required.

  • ADA Parking Passes are available. A free ADA Parking Pass is required to park in the ADA Parking area.

  • Parking Passes required for Active/Retired Military.

  • The Drop-off/Pick-up area for ride sharing services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) is located on the corner of Lois Ln and Judson Drive). If being dropped off, a parking pass is not requied.


SHOW INFORMATION

  • Parking areas open at 7:00am. Air show gates open at 8:00am.

  • Parking passes and premium seating tickets are valid for one day access only.

  • All sales are final. No refunds, even if the air show cancels.

  • Children 4 and under are free for premium seating tickets, considered a lap child.

  • You cannot access the air show from the airport terminal.
     
  • We highly encourage that you bring a refillable water bottle! There will be free water stations located throughout the air show. It can be any refillable water bottles (ex. Yeti tumbers, Ozark cups, Hydroflask, etc.)

  • - Chewing gum
  • - Barbecues or cooking equipment
  • - Outside food, snacks, or beverages
  • - Pets (with the exception of licensed service animals, not emotional support animals)
  • - Due to safety reasons, personal golf carts, scooters, seg-weys, hover boards and other motorized conveyances (excludes medical transportation devices)
  • - Skateboards, roller skates, scooters and bicycles
  • - Beach balls, balloons, signs and banners
  • - Horns, whistles and other loud items
  • - Laser pointers
  • - Drugs/drug paraphernalia
  • - Alcohol (alcohol will be available for purchase on site with valid ID)
  • - Smoking (which includes chewing tobacco and e-cigarettes) is not permitted inside the gate.
  • - Weapons of any kind including firearms, blades (including pocket knives) and blunt objects. NO CONCEALED CARRY. Items restricted by federal law or which, in the judgment of Air Show/Open House officials, may create a safety risk or reduce the enjoyment of the event for other guests.
