Event Description
The Bushido-Kai Black Belt Awards Banquet is an invitation only special event for fellowship and to gather and honor the Black Belts of Bushido-Kai and friends.
We will honor Mark Payne's promotion to 9th Degree Black Belt and present his certificate to Patti and the family.
We will also share memories, more awards and exciting news for the future!
Bushido-Kai's mission is one word - RESPECT!
We are gathering to celebrate and initiate growth and excellence in Kansas City Karate , Kickboxing and Martial Arts.
Bushido-kai has joined with the great Pat Burleson's World Martial Arts Ranking Association to help promote and evolve the code of Bushido in the Art, sport and combat arena's of martial arts. The goal is to evolve beyond style and systems to a unified brotherhood to help us all continue lifetime learning and sharing the great lessons we have been blessed with.
Founded by a group of Bushidokan Black Belts and friends from the Lineage of Jim Harrison, Mark Payne and Steve Mackey,
We are evolving from "Way of the warrior school" to Way of the warrior university. This new format and system will use a university model to achieve rank rank thru core and elective rank requirements. We believe our foundation has been to learn more, throw out what doesn't work and continually grow and seek a better path. This system will enable us to continue to advance our legacy and art together under the great World Martial Arts Ranking Association under Mr Pat Burleson.
You have been invited because you are part of this great lineage, legacy and history we share. Please RSVP asap as numbers are limited and cannot be stretched!
This banquet will cap 3 days of gatherings, round tables, work shops , seminars and celebrations.
