Our experienced and enthusiastic instructors will guide students through the process of art conception using painting, mixed media, and digital photography. They will also be encouraged to consider new ways of expressing themselves during daily sketch time and practice sessions. Each student will complete three finished projects and at least two will be included in the juried gallery showcase.  There may be a guest appearance by a working artist and focus on displaying and marketing art.
 
Ages
For completed 4th-12th graders
Students will be assigned to a group for the week.
 

Cost - Earlybird deadline is May 31.

Earlybird Basic Registration is $145, covers registration for the week, plus a t-shirt 

Earlybird Perks Registration is $225, covers registration for the week, plus the perks listed below.

Basic Registration $160 covers registration for the week, plus a t-shirt

Tshirt, 4 tickets to showcase, ShowCase DVD, 2 complimentary private lessons, 10% off Class registration, Two ticket voucher (show only) to Actors Point Theater Production.

Gallery/ShowCase
The week will culminate with a Gallery/Showcase performance combined with the Musical Theater camp on Friday night from 7:00-9:00 pm with participants displaying what they have prepared during the week. Gallery/Showcase is open to the public so family and friends can be a part of the evening.  Tickets will be sold $10-adults, $7- students (6-17), 5 and under admitted at no charge.
 
Lunch and Snacks
Students will be responsible for bringing their own lunch and snacks each day. Some additional sweets and drinks will be available for purchase for $1 each

Q. What time do doors open?
A. 8:45 am each morning of camp

Q. What is parking like?
A. plenty of parking available with handicapp parking also available

Q. Is it all seating or standing room only?
A. There will be plenty of seating available for the Showcase at the end of the camp on Friday evening.

Q. What does General Admission mean?
A. Seating for the Showcase is on a first come basis

Q. Can I get a refund or exchange?
A. A refund minus 20% administration fee can be requested up to one week before camp starts. No refunds any closer to camp date

Q. What items are allowed/not allowed?
A. no electronic devices allowed other then cell phones (which can only be used for emergency, during breaks and after camp)

Q. Do you offer any discounts?
A. A $25 discount is offered for families with multiple children enrolled. First child's registration is full price, additional children's registration is discounted - if you are a Carpe Academy student, please inquire with the Carpe office.
