The Flavor of Franklin opens up the Great Americana BBQ weekend with a celebration of the area?s best food and beverages. Over 20 local restaurants and specialty food vendors will be on hand to give you a taste of some amazing food.
Imagine sampling tasty appetizers from one restaurant, a bold entre from another and a decadent desert from a small specialty food vendor. All this while enjoying the evening with friends on the grounds of beautiful Harlinsdale Farms.
Proceeds from Friday nights Flavor of Franklin will benefit local culinary arts programs. The Franklin BBQ Society is committed to helping local students who dream to become culinary professionals and want to develop the necessary cooking techniques and other skills essential to success in the industry. Tickets for the Flavor of Franklin will be available for $20 online as well as at the gate.
Live music will be paying on the main stage for your entertainment. Our featured performer for the evening will be Jessica Miller. Born and raised in the snow belt of Chardon, Ohio, Jessica grew up on classic rock and fell in love with country music when she realized she could sing at the age of 11. Since then, she?s made her mark opening for such acts as The Charlie Daniels Band, Joe Diffie, Lee Roy Parnell, and Andy Griggs.
Craft beer
and cocktails will be for sale at the Flavor of Franklin Bar. Mantra Artisan Ales and Steel Barrel Brewing
are the Craft Beer Sponsors for the weekend.
