Should I bring a chair?

What happens if it rains?
Rain or shine, the event will go on! Rest assured, we will have plenty of coverage under the several pavilions at the market.

Can I leave my car in the city lot over night?
Yes, you may leave your car overnight in any of the Public Market Lots. Please do not drink and drive!

So what breweries are attending, anyway?
We are expecting more than 70 breweries this year! Plus, a handful of other vendors including distilleries, cideries, wineries and more! We also have 14 NEW breweries this year. The full lineup can be found on the "Vendors + Breweries" tab at http://www.flourcitybrewersfest.com/.

Can I bring a growler for some goodness to go?
No, sorry. No alcohol can leave the fenced venue area. Stop by the Beer Hall after and get a growler fill for home!

What about food?
We have invited 12 food trucks to offer their culinary delights! Some of Rochester's best and favorite mobile food spots will be there to feed you.

Sounds awesome! What else can we expect?
Live music will be featured compliments of The Brother Blue. Also, with the new construction to the Market, there are many new and clean indoor restrooms for all to access.

Uh, you spelled "Flower" wrong?
Yes, Rochester is known as the Flower City, however, traditionalists will recognize that it was originally "Flour," not "Flower," and we wish to observe Rochester?s original name!

Is there a charity aspect to the festival?
Yes. Flour City Brewer's Fest has been supporting Holiday Outreach (www.holidayoutreach.org) since moving to High Falls in 1996.  During the holiday season, the team at Holiday Outreach uses funds raised during various events held throughout the year to provide food to area food pantries and soup kitchens and provide gifts for children in the Rochester, NY area. The board members and other volunteers shop for food, toys and clothes to be distributed during the holiday season. Volunteers also assist in the wrapping and distribution of these gifts.

Furthermore, proceeds from the Flour City Brewers Fest benefit the New York State Brewers Association (NYSBA), a 501(c)6 that was founded in 2003 to serve as a promotional and legislative proponent for New York State breweries, microbreweries, farm breweries, brewpubs and brewing affiliated businesses. The growth of the Craft Beer segment continues to be strong and New York State's share of that growth has exceeded that of breweries on the national level.

Are there ATMs on site?
Yes, ATM machines will be available on-site.
