On August 24th, 2019 the air in Franklin, Tennessee will be filled with the sweet aroma of hickory smoke and simmering sauce for the 'Great Americana Barbecue Festival' at Harlinsdale Farm.
Visitors will enjoy some of the most ?finger licking good" barbecue around, prepared by professional pit masters and iron chefs from across the country - all within the town limits of Franklin, TN - "the best small town in America" - according to Southern Living and Trip Advisor.
The BBQ festival is hosted by The Franklin BBQ Society and The Franklin Noon Rotary Club (FNRC). The FNRC has dedicated over six decades of service to its community and has distributed over three million dollars to local charities. FNRC continues to produce The Franklin Rodeo, Williamson County's longest running annual event, celebrating its 70th year.

Festival Rules & Policies
Entrance into the festival is controlled by security, and festival and ticketing personnel. All entrants must have a valid event ticket. All entrants are subject to pat down and bag search upon entering the festival area. The Great Americana BBQ Festival reserves the right to search all people and property to ensure the security of all person in attendance.
ALCOHOL RULES
NO UNDERAGE DRINKING IS PERMITTED,
ALL LAWS WILL BE ENFORCED.
NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED.
NO ONE UNDER 21 WILL BE ADMITTED TO THE TASTING AREAS.
Over 21 ID wristbands will be available upon entering the festival at a designated location, please have your ID available at all times.
PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
Persons will not be allowed to enter the festival if they are intoxicated or pose a threat to themselves or others. Persons found to be intoxicated in the entertainment space will be escorted out without refund.
ADDITIONAL RULES
NO unapproved vending including the sale or re-sale of alcoholic beverages.
NO Fighting / Threatening Behavior: Any person found fighting will be evicted from the festival without refund.
NO Disorderly or Disruptive behavior.
Any person found to be in possession of a weapon will be subject to a criminal investigation and immediately evicted from the event without refund.

Maximum size for individual blankets is 8′x 10′
Low-backed chairs only (under 30″) to ensure good viewing for your neighbors
Small digital or disposable cameras

NO alcohol
NO food
NO Dogs except registered Service Dogs
NO inflatables (Beach Balls, Footballs, Volleyballs, etc.)
