Q. What time do gates open?
A. 9:30AM - 5:30PM
Q. What time does the show start?
A. The performances begin approximately at 11 a.m.
No schedule is posted as it is subject to change based on weather and
cloud coverage at the time. We plan on having all acts perform unless
otherwise broadcasted. See who will be there: click here.
Q. What is parking like?
A. For parking information, refer to the Airshow website. There will be a handicap parking area close to the gates. All parking is completely free. The parking lots will officially open to the public at 8:00am each day.
Q. Is there a charge for the show?
A. Admission and parking are FREE and open to the
public. Guests are invited to sit almost anywhere in the park to watch
the show, but seats along the flight line are on a first-come
first-serve basis. Premium preferred seating can be purchased. The airshow marks reserves special seating areas for sponsors, staff and family of the performers.
Q. Do I need to buy a ticket for children for the premium seating tent?
A. Children ages five and younger do not need a ticket for the premium seating tent but must be accompanied by an adult with a purchased ticket. Children ages five and younger will be considered lap children and will not receive their own seat.
Q. Are Cameras or Videos allowed?
A.
Yes. You may bring cameras and video recorders into the show. Keep in mind that everything is subject to be searched.
Q. Are coolers permitted at the show?
A.
No. Coolers are not permitted inside the Airshow gates.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A.
Sorry, there are no pets allowed (with the exception of service animals.)
Q. Is there shade available?
A. There are limited areas of shade available throughout the flight line,
and you can also take a walk through one of our larger static displays
to get a break from the sun. Hats are recommended as umbrellas are not
allowed.
Q. Can I bring in food?
A. Absolutely NO food can be brought into the show.
If you have a food allergy or other medical condition that requires
you to bring your own food, please provide documentation to show at the
entrance gates.
Q. Can I re-enter the show if I leave?
A.
Yes. You can leave and return as much as needed. If you have premium seating then it is only good on the day the pass states.
Q. Do you have seating available?
A.
No. We do not have bleacher seating available at the show. Collapsible chairs are recommended. The only exception is the premium seating area which comes with seats.
Q. What happens if it rains or there is any weather event?
A.
In the event of rain, some flying demonstrations may be delayed or
postponed. However, unless the weather poses a serious threat to the
safety of the visitors and participants, the show will proceed as
scheduled with some modifications. Bring your rain ponchos as umbrellas are not allowed.
Q. Is bottled water allowed?
A. No. Only clear empty bottles that can hold up to 24 ounces will be allowed into the area to be filled at our hydration stations.
Q. Is smoking allowed?
A. Cigarettes and e-Cigarettes/vapes are allowed inside the airshow, but are to be used in the designated smoking area only.
Q. What is the Emergency Plan?
A. In the event of a weather emergency, public will be asked to evacuate
the main show area and shelter in their vehicle until the area is
cleared and safe for departure.

Q. Where can I see a map of the air show?
A.
To keep the airbase clean for use, no paper airshow maps are provided. Alternatively you can download a map of the airshow on our website or
visit one of the several information stations that will have maps and
volunteers to help direct you.
Q. Is there a radio broadcast of the air show?
A.
No radio broadcasts of the airshow have been scheduled at this time.
Q. Is there a Clear Bag Policy in effect?
A. Guardians of Freedom Airshow Clear Bag Policy strictly limits the size and types of bags that are permitted.
Each guest may carry one bag that is clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12” by x 6” x 12” or a one-gallon clear plastic gallon-sized freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small clutch purse or wallet no larger than 4.5" x 6.5", with or without a handle or strap, subject to search.
Each guest, including children, will be able to carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse.
Metal detector screening and a search of all items being carried in will take place at the entry gates.
Diapers and wipes may be carried in a clear bag, however, diaper bags are not permitted.
Additional clothing, blankets, etc. are permitted if carried loosely or in an approved clear bag.
Blankets should be carried over the shoulder to be screened more quickly.
Small cameras, binoculars and cell phones are permitted if carried in loosely or in an approved clear bag.
There are no provisions to check prohibited bags or items.
Guests will be asked to either return prohibited items to parked vehicle
or dispose of prohibited items at the gate.
Q. What items are NOT ALLOWED?
A. Prohibited Items
All Weapons regardless of permits to include: Guns (real or toy), knives, mutli-tools, pepper spray, stun-guns and anything deemed dangerous. Human Transportation Devices to include: Skate boards, roller blades, go carts, golf carts, Segways, hover boards, Heelys, and bicycles. This excludes medical transportation devices.
ALL Food items to include: coolers (unless needed for baby food/formula or lifesaving medicine), alcoholic beverages, glass containers, Camel backs/ hydration packs (unless empty), outside food (excluding baby food or food approved for medical reasons).
Other prohibited items: back packs, duffel bags or other large bags, fireworks, flammable liquids, laser pointers, tents, awnings, cabanas, large umbrellas, ALL REMOTE CONTROLLED DEVICES and illegal narcotics and paraphernalia. Pets other than service animals are not allowed.
