International Learn to Fly Day at the Flying W Airport (N14)
On May 21 we will be celebrating International Learn to Fly Day at the Flying W Airport!
Aircraft from Freeflight Aviation, Aero Prep, and Helicopter Flight Services will be on display. Aircraft Owners, Pilots, Flight Instructors, will be available to answer your questions about flight. Introductory flights will be available at a cost in Cessna, Piper, Diamond Aircraft. Helicopter flights may also be provided for a cost.
Visit the Runway Café for a relaxing breakfast or lunch, and enjoy the view of aircraft taxing by or departing the runway. Have a drink later in the evening at the Avion Lounge, reopening May 1st.
Buy a $1.00 raffle ticket and have a chance to win a Discovery Flight. Bring your friends and family, enjoy our celebration of International Learn to Fly Day at our airport.
Meet young cadets from the Civil Air Patrol and learn how your children can become involved in the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). Meet members of our local EAA Chapter 1348.
