Chonda is the author of a half-dozen best-selling books and recently the winner of the Comedian of the Year Visionary Award. Her DVDs are consistently strong sellers, both on tour and at retail. Chonda has seven DVDs that have been certified gold, four platinum certifications for DVD sales over 100,000 units, five Emmy nominations, and has appeared in several movies released in 2011.
Her latest comedy DVD, I’m Kind of a Big Deal, released on April 10, 2012. This video continues to highlight her crazy southern antics, which have been labeled as “blue collar on estrogen.” Chonda will be sharing her “down-home” approach to comedy on her upcoming tour, Live.
