Frequently Asked Questions

We suggest arriving early before to avoid potential traffic. General admission to the show is free, a ticket is not required. Seating is not provided for free general admission. We encourage general admission guests to bring portable chairs or blankets to sit and view the air show.

Seating options are available, but not required to attend the air show. Upgraded VIP Experience options are available for purchase. A parking pass is required to park in identified lots. Parking passes are available for purchase


HOW TO GET HERE - PARKING AND SHUTTLE INFO:

DRIVING: A parking pass is needed for those driving to the event. Premium seating purchases include on-base parking. Accessible parking is free on-base.


ACCESSIBLE / HANDICAP PARKING LOT

BLUE PARKING LOT
GREEN Parking LOT
SOUTH GREEN LOT
PINK PARKING LOT

RIDE SHARE: Ridesharing is recommended to reduce traffic and environmental impact. Shuttles are available from off-base parking areas except the Blue Lot, which is a walkable distance (approx. 1-mile).



ALL INDIVIDUALS 18 YEARS AND OLDER ENTERING THE FLIGHT LINE AREA THROUGH THE ADMISSION GATES MUST PRODUCE VALID IDENTIFICATION AND ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH.

Accepted Forms of Identification:

U.S. Citizens

  • State Issued Driver's License
  • U.S. Passport Card
  • U.S. Passport
  • U.S. State Department Driver's License
  • Military Dependent ID card
  • Veteran ID card
  • Military Retiree card
  • Common Access Card (CAC)

Foreign Nationals

  • Passports are the only ID accepted for non-US citizens.



Is the show free?

Luke Days 2024 is a free event for general admission entry. Parking passes are required to be purchased in order to park at the show. Base residents and those utilizing ride-sharing drop off do not require a parking pass. Upgraded seating tickets are optional and available for purchase here

Is seating provided?  
For free general admission entry, seating is not provided. Upgraded seating tickets (with parking included!) are optional and available for purchase here

Can I park and walk to the show?
Vehicles parked in the BLUE Lot are required to walk to the show entrance. All other lots require a shuttle bus ride. Base residents and those utilizing ride-sharing drop off do not require a parking pass.


How many people can be in the car per parking pass?
One pass per vehicle, as many riders as there are seat belts.


Can I use Uber/Lyft?
Yes! The Uber/Lyft drop off location is at the following address:

13717 W Glendale Ave
Glendale, AZ 85307

Base residents and those utilizing ride-sharing drop off do not require a parking pass.


Can I use a credit card for food at the show?
Yes, the show is cashless. 


Can I bring water and food into the show?
No outside food or water. Exceptions will be made for medical reasons, such as food allergies.


*** PROHIBITED ITEMS ***



 - Standard size backpacks, large purses, totes, and other types of baggage other than bags conforming to the "Clear Bag Policy" will not be permitted.

- Diaper bags will be searched.

- Weapons of any kind (regardless of permit) include, but are not limited to firearms, knives (including pocket knives and multi-tools), replica or toy weapons, pepper spray, mace, stun guns, and martial arts weapons.

- Outside alcoholic beverages.

- All smoking materials, including vape pens and lighters, will be confiscated at the flightline entry points.

- Ice chests or coolers that are not medically required.

- Pets, other than service animals.

- Glass containers.

- Bicycles, roller skates, roller blades (kick and electric), wheeled-heel shoes, scooters, skateboards, or hoverboards.

- Personal drones (quad or hexacopters).

- Lasers or laser pointers.

- Tents, pop-ups, canopies.

- Hand umbrellas are allowed but are NOT authorized in the seating areas at any time.

- Tailgating/BBQ.

- Illicit narcotics, CBD, and marijuana are Federally banned.



*** PERMITTED ITEMS ***

- Be prepared to show photo identification.

- Non-U.S. Citizens - official passport required (no photos will be accepted)

- A one-gallon zip-top style bag, commercially purchased clear bag, or small clutch for personal items is permissible.

- Factory sealed, clear water bottles


- Empty water flasks, water bottles, cups are authorized. Required to be empty prior to entry. There will be water buffalos and water fill stations throughout the area to fill water bottles.


- You may carry keys, makeup, feminine products, comb, phone, wallet, credit cards, etc. in your pockets if you avoid putting them in a clear bag or clutch.


- Folding chairs.


- Wagons and strollers.

- Service animals that meet the American Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines.


- Binoculars/cameras. Camera bags will be searched.


- Diaper bags. Bag will be searched.


- While coolers/ice chests are NOT permitted, an exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a specified lane at each gate.



*** BAG POLICY ***

- Only clear bags or a small clutch are permitted on the flightline.


- One large clear bag is allowed per person.


- A one-gallon zip-top style bag, commercially purchased clear bag, or small clutch for personal items is permissible.

ALL BAGS AND ITEMS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH AT ANY TIME.
