WE HAVE LIMITED SEATING LEFT FOR SUNDAY FOR BOX SEATS! COME TO THE BOX SEATING AREA TO BUY YOUR SEATS!

Avoid the large crowds and guarantee yourself a great seat close to the flight line and enjoy a great show. The premium box seats are assigned seats on the tarmac. Children 3 and under are free and lap only. If you wish to have a seat for your 3 year old and under, a ticket needs to be purchased. No umbrellas are allowed in this area.

Q. What are premium box seats?

A. Premium Box Seats are assigned seats set on the tarmac. Section "1" is the closer section to show center, then section 2 and so on and so forth.


Q. Do the seats have shaded area?

A. No, the seats are not covered.  There will be some shade where you can stand at the back of the seating area.


Q. Can I go in and out of the seating area?

A. Yes, we will provide you with a wrist band which will grant you in and out access.


Q. What is the handicap access like?

A. There is handicap parking.  Everyone who would like a seat in the designated area will need a ticket, even if the person is in a wheelchair. It is also highly recommended that if a member of your party is in a wheelchair, you purchase seats at the end of the row.


Q. Can I get a refund or exchange?

A. No refunds/no exchanges of tickets regardless of weather or changes in flying schedule.


Q. What items are NOT allowed?

A. Coolers, glass containers, pets, fireworks, knives, weapons of any sort, and large tote bags are all prohibited to ensure the security and safety of attendees. Bicycles, roller blades, etc., are acceptable modes of transportation for getting to the event; however, they will not be used inside the show area due to safety concerns.


Q. Can I bring an umbrella into the seating area?

A. Open umbrellas are not allowed in the seating area. Also, no smoking and for best viewing of everyone in the seating area, we ask that you remain seated during the aerial performances.

    To avoid heavy traffic congestion and competing for limited parking on the base, take public transportation to the annual MacDill AFB AirFest.

    Directions from I-75 to the MacDill AFB Dale Mabry Gate

    Merge on to west bound I-4 from I-75
    Take the I-4 west bound exit via the ramp on the LEFT toward TAMPA.
    Merge onto I-275 S via the exit on the LEFT toward TAMPA INT'L AIRPORT/ST PETERSBURG
    Merge onto south bound N. DALE MABRY HWY/US-92 W/FL-600 via EXIT 41A
    DALE MABRY HWY terminates at the MacDill AFB DALE MABRY Gate

    Directions from Orlando:

    Take I-4 west to Tampa, then proceed south on I-275.
    Take the Dale Mabry (southbound) exit 41A Southbound.
    Once on Dale Mabry Ave, proceed 5 miles to MacDill AFB.

    HART Transit during AirFest:

    The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority will be running every 15 minutes from Britton Plaza to MacDill from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Southbound and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Northbound leaving the base. Please be advised, coolers, glass containers, pets, fireworks, knives, weapons of any sort and large tote bags are all prohibited to ensure the security and safety of all attendees.
