Since 1992, Disciple has been rocking the Christian music scene with many hits such as ? ?Dear X ? You Don?t Own Me?, ?Invisible?, ?Radical?, ?I Just Know?, ?Big Bad Wolf?, ?The Wait Is Over?, and ?Love Hate (On and On)? and recently "Racial", "Angels and Demons" and "Dead Militia".
They have received nine GMA Dove Award Nominations and in 2007 they won a Dove Award for Album of the Year for ?Scars Remain?.
They have recently released a new album called ?Attack? and have received a Dove nomination for best rock album of the year.
Disciple has toured with top Christian acts such as Skillet, RED, Thousand Foot Krutch, Superchick, Newsboys, and Kutless to name a few.
Besides the many musical successes, they openly share their faith story for encouragement on stage.
Joining the tour is Christian rapper KJ-52 -
He was awarded the Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year for "Never Look Away" and Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year at the GMA Dove Awards of 2007. On July 28, 2009, KJ-52 released "End of My Rope", which is the first single for his album Five-Two Television. His song "Dear Slim" is based on Eminem's song "Stan" and is a sort of personal message from KJ-52 to Eminem. In 2010 he won Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the year.
The Christian dance band Loftland has played many venues in southeast Minnesota. The band, The Protest is a Christian hard rock band from New Castle, IN.
