Power In The Pines Open House and Air Show will proudly feature the U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds as the headliner, showcasing their stunning aerial maneuvers and high-speed formations that exemplify precision and teamwork. Attendees can look forward to an exciting lineup of talented aviators and captivating acts that promise to deliver an unforgettable day of aviation excellence.

THE AIR SHOW NETWORK™️ VIP EXPERIENCE

Flight Line Club at at Power in the Pines Air Show

Sit back away from the crowds and enjoy the Air Show from the comfort of your own table for the day. The VIP Flight Line Club™ area offers the extraordinary views of the show with seating of 2 or 4 seats per table. 

 

This VIP area offers "in and out" privileges throughout the day for guests to enjoy the static displays, concessions, souvenir booths, and exhibitors.

 

Dedicated premium porta-lets are available for the convenience of our guests. Unlimited refreshments will be provided throughout the day, as well as a catered lunch.

INCLUDES:

  1. Assigned Seating
  2. In-and-out access from the Flight Line Club™ area throughout the day
  3. Reserved tables of 2 or 4, seating in spacious exclusive viewing area
  4. Catered, buffet-style lunch
  5. Unlimited water and soft drinks
  6. Private "Premium" restroom facilities

Children ages 3 & under admitted free (lap only)

Please note, tables are not under shade for maximum viewing of the air show. A shaded tent area will be located within the enclosed Flight Line Club™ for temporary relief from the sun.

Premium Box Seats at Power in the Pines Air Show

Leave your chairs at home and arrive at the showsite with reserved seats waiting for you!  Premium Box Seats are located directly on the flight line, providing an outstanding way to view the air show. 

 

This area offers "in and out" privileges throughout the day for guests to enjoy the static displays, concessions, souvenir booths, and exhibitors. Take ease knowing that your selected seats are waiting when you're ready to sit and watch the show.

 

Seating is not under shade for maximum viewing of the air show. However, there will be shade tents for temporary relief from the sun, available in the back of the seating area, first come first served.

 

Concessions are available for purchase at dedicated booths located within the enclosed Box Seating area. 

 

Premium Box Seats also offer dedicated porta-lets for the convenience of our guests.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to be admitted to the Open House and Air Show and be supervised at all times.

This event is cashless. All approved vendors will accept credit or debit cards.

General Admission is free. Premium Seating tickets are sold online only. Walk-up ticket sales will not be available.
 

NOTE: Non-U.S. Citizens are subject to additional screening. Please have ID available and ready to present upon request.

WHEN DO THE GATES OPEN?

Gates open at 9:00 a.m. In-bound traffic will be unavailable after 12:30pm. Be sure to get an early start! Gates close immediately following the show after all attendees have been directed off-site for both Saturday and Sunday.



DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR A TICKET TO ENTER?

No. This event is free and open to the public. General Admission is free and a ticket is not required for entry. Please see premium ticketing options if your are interested in an enhanced experience.


DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING?

General parking is free, handicap parking is also available for free with the appropriate handicap parking tags/placards.


CAN I LEAVE AND RE-ENTER THE EVENT?

Yes. If you purchased a premium seating option, keep your tickets and make sure you receive a wristband when you exit. But be advised: if you choose to leave and exit JB MDL after 12:30pm, you will not be able to re-enter.



WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

The decision to cancel aerial performances for weather or safety is made the day of the event. Announcements will be made via the event website and social media channels is a cancellation decision is made. 


WILL ATM'S BE AVAILABLE?

No. The 2025 Open House and Air Show is a cashless event. All authorized vendors will accept debit/credit cards for purchases.


CAN I BRING A LAWN CHAIR?

Small, collapsible chairs and/or camping chairs are permitted. For a full list of permitted/prohibited items, please see below.


ARE COOLERS PERMITTED?

ARE STROLLERS AND CHILD WAGONS ALLOWED?

Yes, strollers and wagons are allowed. If you purchased Premium Box Seats, your stroller/wagon must be parked at the back of the seating area so emergency areas remain accessible. For a full list of permitted/prohibited items, please see below.


CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?

Yes, cameras are allowed (still, video, digital). Your camera bags will be checked up on entry. For a full list of permitted/prohibited items, please see below.


ARE PETS ALLOWED?

Safety/Medical Information:


Drink plenty of fluids. Apply sunscreen. Temperatures on the flight line where the event is being staged are typically higher. Bring a hat to protect the top of your head. Take time out to rest during the day. First aid tents will be on site - look for the red cross.


Weather shelters, special needs areas and water bottle filling stations will be available. Refer to the Open House Map or ask an event volunteer for directions to these areas


LOST AND FOUND

A lost and found/information booth will be on site to report lost children. Announcements will be made over the public address system. Bring found items or report lost items to the lost and found/information tent.

We do not have wheelchairs available to rent. You must bring your own.


I HAVE A MEDICAL NEED AND NEED TO BRING MEDICATION THAT NEEDS TO STAY COLD. CAN I BRING MY COOLER?


If you have a documented medical need and require medication that must be kept cold, you can bring it in a SOFT-SIDED COOLER ONLY. The medication MUST be accompanied by a doctor's note saying you have a medical need.
