Event Description
In the summer of 2012, Ammendola and Phillips teamed up to provide music for a Jesus Alive event. Joined by Michael Perrone (guitar and vocals), John Foote (drums); Then Jim Miller (bass guitar and vocals) and now Jaime Moore in 2013 (bass guitar); brought together a blend of soul-baring vocals and lyrics, crunching rock-n-roll guitars and tasteful grooves. The band?s straightforward delivery was like an epiphany for them and their first audience; each knowing they had just experienced something special.
Brothers, husbands balancing jobs and family, red words is authentic. Cutting through the everyday noise, spreading the ?simple love? that God has given us through Jesus.
Music is an inspired vehicle for spreading God?s love. His love, His word - like a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path - reaches down into the brokenness of hearts in need of God?s touch.
The red words that Jesus spoke are not only to be read, but are meant to be lived out! Through music, red words is sharing the teachings of Christ together with the experiences of life, delivering a message of Love with soul and a bit of grit and grace.
