The 2018 Spirit of St. Louis Air Show, scheduled for October 13-14, 2018, will feature the Canadian CF-18 demo team. Also joining the event for the first time will be the USAF F-16 Fighting Falcon demonstration team. These two dynamic teams will be joined by Skip Stewart in his aerobatic biplane and various other tactical air demonstrations.
?2018 marks the 40th anniversary of the F/A-18 Hornet?s first flight,? said John Bales, president of the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show committee and Spirit of St. Louis Airport director. ?2018 will kick off two years of airshows in St. Louis, celebrating these made-in-St. Louis aircraft, while also thrilling attendees with phenomenal performances from other historic and modern aircraft.?

The main event will take place on Saturday and Sunday (October 13th and 14th), and will feature the STEM Expo, and Veteran's Village. and two incredible air shows.
Can we bring coolers into the event?
No outside food or beverages. Coolers are not permitted on the air show grounds. A variety of food and drink will be available for purchase.
Can we bring lawn chairs into the event?
Yes. Lawn chairs are permitted on the air show grounds. You will be responsible for your own chair at all times.
Can we bring umbrellas or tents into the event?
No. Umbrellas and tents are not allowed onto the grounds as they would block viewing in the general viewing areas.

We will have special handicapped parking area near the entrance to the Air Show grounds. If you have a hang tag or disabled plate, you should be directed to that area automatically. If not, just ask about it. Once you're in the handicapped parking area, we will have golf carts watching for arrivals needing assistance and they will be able to take you almost anywhere on the Air Show grounds. In addition, we will have wheelchairs available on a first come first served basis. We will need some form of collateral (typically a driver's license) to loan out a wheelchair, but otherwise our services are free and available to all who need them.
