Thunder Over the Sound is set for May 4th and 5th and is proud to bring back the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, who are sure to give another breathtaking performance!
This year?s unique joint efforts between Keesler Air Force Base and the city of Biloxi demonstrates the partnership between two communities, commitment to the Gulf Coast region and serves as a poignant reminder of how incredible our service men and women are who sacrifice so much to protect us.
The Thunder Over the Sound takes place on the flightline at Keesler Air Force Base and along the beaches of Biloxi.
We welcome you and your family to this amazing event!
7:30AM - Gates open at Keesler AFB
8:30AM - On base performances begin
1:00PM - Off base performances over Biloxi beachfront
3:30PM - Keesler flightline show area closes
5:00PM - Event concludes

Because there may be delays due to weather, mechanical issues or any other unforeseen issues, the performers do not have a specified start time. The end time is an estimate.

⭐️ IS THE SHOW FREE?
The show is free for general admission to view the show. You do not need a ticket to watch the show for free. There are limited premium seating options available for purchase. For reserved premium seating, children 3 & under are free but must sit in a lap. If purchasing reserved premium seating and you wish to have a seat for your child 3 & under, a seat must be purchased.

📍 MAPS AND PARKING:
There will be five off-base parking locations around Biloxi. A shuttle system will be provided to get attendees from their parking areas to the flightline entrance on base for the morning portion of the air show, the beach near the intersection of White Avenue and U.S. 90 for the afternoon portion, and then back to the respective parking areas. Each parking location will have its on bus color route. Be sure to remember the color route for your area!
Parking on Keesler AFB will ONLY be open to Dept. of Defense ID cardholders and handicap visitors. Access to Keesler DoD ID card holders during the airshow will be through the Meadows Gate and Pass Road Gate. Individuals requesting handicapped parking must have state-approved handicapped placards.
The Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum charges a $5 per vehicle parking fee at its site.

✈️ PERFORMERS
This year, our headline performers will be the USAF Thunderbirds, demonstrating four-jet diamond formations and highlighting the maximum capabilities or the F-16 Fighting Falcons. The show will also include a myriad of other performers including: Team Aeroshell, the Army Special Ops Black Daggers, a MiG-17 and many more.

We also have a full line up of static displays, ground performances, a dedicated kid?s zone with bounce houses and obstacle course, food trucks, and interactive STEM exhibits.
