FEATURING THE U.S. NAVY BLUE ANGELS

NAS Corpus Christi is pleased to announce the Wings Over South Texas Air Show is open to the public on May 10, 2025. This year’s show will be held on the Air Field! The Friday show will be open only to those with base access and their guests. The Saturday show will be open to the public.

This event offers free admission and parking. No tickets are required to attend. Spectators are encouraged to bring their own seating. Paid seating is available for purchase. All spectators over the age of 18 must present a physical photo ID issued by the United States government or a state government to gain access to this year’s air show. Navy security personnel reserve the right to deny access to any person on a case by case basis without explanation.

 The world-renowned U.S. Navy Blue Angels will be headlining this event. Limited premium seating is available.

PREFERRED SEATING

Preferred Seats are a fantastic way to get a great seat for the Air Show, right on the Air Field for an unobstructed crowd view close to show center. There is a shaded eating area with picnic tables for enjoying some of the delicious items offered by our local food trucks. We will also have portable restrooms designated exclusively for our Preferred Seating guests. Ticket will be scanned at the entry to the Preferred Seating area and ticket holder will be given a wristband that will allow unlimited in and out of the area during the show. Due to fire codes strollers will not be allowed inside the Preferred Seating area. There will be a monitored stroller check in area located just outside the Preferred Seating entry.

  • Individual Chair Seating
  • Dedicated Preferred Seating Restrooms
  • Dedicated Beverage Booth offering beverages for purchase
  • Complimentary Air Show Poster
  • Children 3 years and under are free. Preferred Seating children 3 years and below must sit on guardian's lap.

WINGS OF GOLD VIP TICKETS

Wings of Gold seats are the best seats in the house! Wings of Gold seats include luxury seating on the airfield with both tent and outdoor seating, catered lunch, unlimited water, soft drinks and a cash bar with beer and wine. ID required. Children 3 and under do not require a ticket. Wings of Gold ticket holders will be able to take advantage of the special VIP Base entry, VIP Parking located just outside the VIP show entry gates with a VIP shuttle to take our VIP guest to the Wings of Gold Tent entrance. Due to fire codes, strollers will not be allowed inside the Wings of Gold tent. There will be a monitored stroller check in area located just outside the tent entry.

Wings Of Gold VIP and Preferred Seating ticket purchasers over the age of 18 must present a physical photo ID issued by the United States government or a state government for check-in at the seating areas. The attendee whose name is listed for the order must have an ID with a matching name. If you need to transfer your order to another name, please contact tickets@attendstar.com to have the name updated.

General admission to Wings Over South Texas is free. Upgraded seating is available for purchase.


Parking Information

PREFERRED SEATING / GENERAL PARKING: 

General admission guests and Preferred Seating ticket holders will enter through the base through the SOUTH GATE located on NAS Drive. Stay in the MIDDLE AND RIGHT LANES as you enter the gate. Follow instructions from military personnel to the general parking area.



WINGS OF GOLD VIP PARKING: 

All VIP ticket holders will enter through the VIP entrance at the SOUTH GATE on NAS Drive. Stay in the LEFT LANE through the gate, which will be Lexington. Turn left on First Street. Go down toward airfield and turn left on D Street. Security staff will direct you to the VIP lot. Shuttles will be running from VIP parking to tent entrance throughout the show.


Entry Restrictions

PERMITTED ITEMS:

The following items are permitted on the flight line. All permitted items will be inspected prior to admission to the flight line. It is strongly recommended that spectators minimize the number and size of permitted items to reduce access time into the flight line area.

• Opaque bags that do not exceed 6" x 6"

• Clear plastic or vinyl bags that do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"

• Medically necessary materials, small diaper bags, plastic baby bottles or other essential baby supplies (infant must be with carrier)

• Water bottles

• Portable/Lawn chairs (must take chair out of bag before going through security, but ones through you may use the bag)

• Cameras

• Child stroller/wagon/walker

• Binoculars/optics

• Handicap units

• Ear protection


PROHIBITED ITEMS:

The following items will not be permitted on the flight line and are subject to confiscation:

• Opaque bags larger than 6"x6"

• Clear plastic or vinyl bags larger than 12" x 6" x 12"

• Outside food and beverage (water bottles are authorized and subject to search)

• Alcohol

• Coolers

• Cooking grills/smokers/cookers (NO TAILGATING)

• Pop up tents

• Large sun umbrellas

• Animals/pets (service animals only)

• Bicycles/Skateboards/Rollerblades/Motorized Cycles or Unites (Handicap units are permitted)

• Kites/Balloons/Radio-controlled devices (I.E. drones, 2-way radios, etc.)

• Fireworks (all types)

• Firearms, ammunition and weapons/contraband (such as knives, pepper spray, stun guns, medical cannabis, illegal/controlled substances, etc.)

• Disguising/Concealing costumes.


Services for Disabilities:

Parking: Handicap parking is very limited. Patrons with handicapped licenses or hang tags will be directed to the appropriate area.


Environment: If a family wants to purchase reserved seating and needs accommodations for a wheelchair, please see the seating tickets tab for more information. A large portion of the Air Show general viewing area is on hard, flat surfaces. Keep in mind that the Air Show covers a large amount of real estate and patrons should be prepared to traverse a significant distance in the process of getting into and out of the Air Show.


Restrooms: Restroom facilities for the disabled are available.
