Q. What time do the gates to Wings Over The Pacific open?

  1. O'Malley Gate, Hickam's main gate, is to be used by the general public to enter Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Gates will be open to the public at 10 a.m. daily. Static display aircraft and countless military, aviation, and technology displays will be available to all guests daily after 10:00 a.m.

Q. What time should I plan to arrive?

  1. Early. Traffic will get more and more congested as the day progresses. We suggest that you plan to arrive early in the morning and make a day of it. Individuals that choose to start the drive to the base too late will have to deal with a lot more traffic than those that plan to arrive early.

Q. How much is admission to the Wings Over The Pacific?

  1. Admission and parking are absolutely FREE!  The Premium Box Seats and Flight Line  Club Seating are optional.

Q. What is the performer schedule?

  1. A list of performers is listed on the Air Show Info pull down menu. Unfortunately, the schedule is not solidified until the morning of the Air Show to allow for security, safety, weather or operational concerns.

Q. Can I bring my camera/video camera/cell phone?

  1. Yes. There are no security restrictions on these items. However, large camera bags are not permitted. Bring only necessary camera equipment, leaving extra attachments at home. A small fanny pack or camera vest is useful for carrying extra film and small lenses, everything is subject to search.
Q. Can I bring water, drinks and/or food?

      No outside food is allowed at the event.  No coolers will not be permitted.

Q. Can I bring a folding chair?

  1. Yes. Lawn chairs are permitted on the air show grounds. Small lawn chairs or camp chairs (no lounge chairs). You will be responsible for your own chair at all times

Q. What happens if it rains?

  1. In the event of rain some flying demonstrations may be delayed or postponed, however, unless the weather poses serious threat to the safety of the visitors and participants, the show will proceed as scheduled with some modifications.
