PLEASE NOTE: ALL TICKETS WILL BE SCANNED UPON ENTRANCE.  To keep lines moving at a fast pace, please have a printed ticket in hand ready for scanning upon arrival.  If you do not have a printer, you may display the tickets on a phone for scanning.  We recommend taking a screenshot of the tickets ahead of time, as internet availability at the show cannot be guaranteed. 

WHY ARE SOME AIRSHOWS FREE AND OTHERS COST MONEY?

• Military Airshows MUST be free to the public since it is funded by tax dollars. Private events use admission sales to cover the cost of performances, insurance, and logistics.

WHY ARE TICKETS EXPENSIVE?

• The City of Coalinga is committed to keep affordable prices for our attendees. The average general admission ticket in California ranges from $25-$55 and a VIP ticket ranges from $50-$200.

 CAN I PAY FOR ADMISSION AT THE GATE ENTRANCE? 

• Yes, cashless payments will be accepted for general admission and VIP access.

WILL THERE BE ADDITIONAL COSTS AT THE AIRSHOW? 

• Parking can be added directly to your ticket as an ‘add on’ or paid for using our QR codes in the parking lot when you arrive at the event.

WHERE WILL PARKING BE LOCATED?

• Parking will be on site. Visit www.coalinga.com to view more details on mapping.

WILL THERE BE AN AIRSHOW PARKING LOT SHUTTLE SERVICE?

• At this time there are no shuttles, however, the City is still working to try and arrange services from the City Center to the Airport. The airshow will be within walking distance of the parking lot.

WILL THERE BE HANDICAP PARKING?

• Yes, designated handicap parking will be available.

ARE COOLERS AND/OR BACKPACKS ALLOWED? 

• No coolers allowed. Clear bags, backpacks, or totes to be no larger than 12 x 12 x 6. Backpacks are subject to search for prohibited items.

ARE WAGONS AND STROLLERS ALLOWED? 

• Strollers exceeding 31" x 52" are not permitted. No wagons allowed.

ARE UMBRELLAS ALLOWED?

• No stationary umbrellas allowed. In order to allow all guests to enjoy their view of the sky we ask no umbrellas exceeding a diameter of 38 to 42 inches. Hand held umbrellas only.

CAN I BRING MY OWN CHAIR?

• Yes, we encourage guests to bring a comfortable camping chair or blanket to enjoy the show.

WHAT IS VIP SEATING LIKE?

• Relax in comfortable seating under shade, enjoy water, light snacks, VIP restrooms, and favors. VIP area is walking distance from vendors and entertainment!

WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE DURING THE AIRSHOW?

• We will have vendors available for food, drinks, and souvenirs. 

DO THE FOOD AND SOUVENIR VENDORS TAKE CREDIT CARDS?

• Cash and Credit cards will be accepted to vendors.

CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD?

• Outside food and beverages will not be allowed. 

ARE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED?

• No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed. Alcoholic drinks will be for sale at the event.

WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR THE AIRSHOW? 

• More detail will be shared closer to the event. We are excited to announce Vicky Benzing with “Vicky Benzing Aerosports” and Yuichi Takagi with “REDFOX Airshows” as featured performers for the Wings Over the Westside Airshow. Gates will open to the public at 10:00 AM, with opening ceremonies scheduled to begin at approximately 12:00 PM, including aircraft flyovers to kick off the show.

ARE PETS ALLOWED?

• No animals are allowed. Service animals are permitted.

ARE CAMERAS AND VIDEO RECORDERS ALLOWED? 

• You may use your phone to take pictures and to record the event. No drones allowed. 

DO YOU RECOMMEND EAR PROTECTION?

• Yes. Please come prepared with ear protection if you have children or sensitive hearing.

WHAT IF IT RAINS? 

• This is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be accepted.
