What time do doors open?

- Doors open at 2:30PM, show will start at 3:30PM

- For young children sitting in laps, a ticket will not be required. If your child is occupying a seat, a ticket will need to be purchased for them.

What can I expect when I arrive for a show, concert, or event?

- All guests will be asked to remove certain metal items from their pockets before walking through a metal detector. As you walk through the detector, screening officers will also check any bag you have brought with you for prohibited items. If the metal detector alarms, you will be asked to check for items you may have forgotten to remove before you entered the metal detector. You will also be asked to go through a secondary screening.

Can I expect a big delay before I will be able to enter the venue?

- We are working hard to ensure that our entrance screening procedures are fast and effective. While we do not believe these machines will cause a significant delay, we do encourage you to arrive early to your scheduled show or performance to ensure you have plenty of time to arrive, go through screening, find your seats and enjoy the opening act or preshow entertainment. You can help us make this process faster and more efficient by minimizing the items that you bring withy ou to the show and having your mobile or printed tickets out & ready for scanning as you enter.

Is there a separate concert entrance for ADA guests?

- Yes, our ADA concert entrance is located between the Grandstand and the Annex of the Highland Ave side of the Fairgrounds.

Can I bring in a wheelchair?

- Of course! Guests who are unable to walk through the metal detector, including guests in wheelchairs, will be screened at the ADA entrance with our secondary screening methods. Wheelchairs may not be taken onto the track.

What is your bag policy?

- Oversized bags are not allowed unless medically necessary, such as medical devices, diabetic supplies, etc. All bags are subject to search. Please plan to secure luggage, large backpacks, and other oversized items at your home or in your vehicle. Please use the ADA entrance when bringing a medial bag.

Can I leave a grandstand concert and return?

- Festival ticket holders are welcome to come and go throughout the day. Your concert ticket allows re-entry into the concert area, so you can enjoy the fair, grab food, visit exhibits and return for performances at the stage at any time. Security scan will be required upon re-entry to the concert.

Why are you using metal detectors?

- We are constantly evaluating our security policies and procedures to ensure we are fostering a safe environment for our guests that is in line with security standards at venues across the country, and enhanced entry screenings are a part of those procedures.

Are metal detectors safe to walk through?

- Yes, these types of machines are regarded as safe to walk through. The electromagnetic field these devices emit is weak and comparable to the field emitted by the Earth. However, if you are not comfortable with this screening at any point, you can request a hand wand or pat down screening.

Will the walk-through metal detector disrupt my pacemaker?

- These machines comply with medical standards and as such, the risk of disruption is negligible. However, if you are not comfortable with this screening at any point, you can request a hand wand or pat down screening.

I have a metal implant. Will this set off the metal detector?

- There may be times when you are asked to go through a secondary screening due to a medical implant.

Does my child need screened?

- Everyone entering the venue must be screened. Infants and toddlers who are unable to walk through the machines on their own may be carried through by a parent or guardian.

I have a concealed carry permit. Can I bring my gun?

- No, all firearms are strictly prohibited inside the concert or show venue. Law Enforcement officers should report to the screening area supervisor for assistance.

What happens if I accidentally bring a gun, knife, or another prohibited item with me?

- You will be asked to return that item to a secure location in your vehicle or off venue property. You will also have the option to surrender that item to our security officers. Surrendered items will not be returned to guests. We are not responsible for ensuring the safekeeping of any prohibited item.
